Adrian Severin was heard in Miron Cozma’s trial

Adrian Severin, a former vice prime-minister within the Romanian Government and the actual Foreign Affairs Minister was heard yesterday by the Court of Bucharest in the trial where Miron Cozma is accused of undermining the state power. After he missed three law terms, Severin came yesterday before the instance, where he supported the affirmations of the other Roman Cabinet members, that is in 1991 the Executive wouldn’t have been dismissed if the miners hadn’t come to Bucharest.
Although at the meeting of the Supreme National Defense Council (CSAT) on September 25, 1991 Ion Iliescu and other Executive members had decided to make a "compromise" – that is to invite the representatives of the opposition political parties and announce a partial reshuffle – the parliament announced the next day the dismissal of the Roman Government, Adrian Severin declared before the Court.
