The American group Guardian International plans to invest in Romania by building a modern factory of glass products.
A delegation of the group lead by Ralph Gerson met Monday with Premier Victor Ciorbea. The value of the project is about $ 100 million and would be the greatest American direct investment in Romania.
Ciorbea appreciated the proposal and expressed his belief that the Guardian International along with FPS and the Romanian Agency for Development (ARD) will find solutions for the achievement of the project.
Guardian is one of the most important world suppliers of glass products, having investments in Hungary, Luxembourg, Spain, Israel, Venezuela, Thailand and India.
