The "International Herald Tribune" (IHT) organizes in Bucharest the international conference "Romania Investment Summit" about the investment opportunities in Romania.
The conference – organised under the patronage of President Emil Constantinescu – will be held at the Athenee Palace Hilton Hotel, which will be inaugurated on this occasion.
Marina Sturza, an IHT consultant in organizing the conference, declared that the organisers’ intention is to bring together the Romanian authorities and the foreign investors in order to see the opportunities offered by Romania and also to solve the problems of the foreign investors.
The conference include debates about the capital market, the financial and banking opportunities existent in Romania. The representatives of the World Bank, EBRD, IMF will refer to the reform program initiated by the Romanian Government, as well a the international support offered in this domain.
The representatives of some outstanding foreign companies – R.J. Reynolds, Daewoo, ING Barings, Mobifon-Connex GSM – will speak about their already gained experience in Romania.
