The Government decided Thursday to turn RomTelecom from an autonomous society into a national stock society, the secretary of state within the Communication Ministry, Dumitru Moinescu, declared to MEDIAFAX. The new society will be called the RomTelecom National Telecommunication Society, he mentioned.
The Ministry of Communication will appoint the members of the General Assembly of the Shareholders, as well as the executiv leadership of the new society. The juridical status of RomTelecom will be changed on the moment of its publication in the Monitorul Oficial.
