Senator Serban Sandulescu announced Wednesday his resignation from the parliamentary Commission for the application of Law 42, which stipulates the granting of facilities for the revolutionists. He declared that he supports the changes to this law proposed by the Government and reproached President Constantinescu that he gives way in front of the "pressure group lead by Dan Iosif." Sandulescu refused to appologize before the PDSR senators, as Oliviu Gherman had asked him.
A delegation of PDSR senators went to the Senate Square and presented the revolutionists lead by Dan Iosif senator Sandulescu’s speech. Premier Ciorbea demanded Wednesday the delay of the law debate in Parliament and announced the organization of the revolutionists into two commissions that will propose modifications of the law and analyse the revolutionists’ files. After the PNTCD meeting, Ciorbea announced that he will give no more way before the revolutionists new claims regarding the definitive withdrawal of the bill for the modification of Law 42 and the maintenance of the granted privileges.
